I'll be honest; I had a love-hate relationship with this project, but the results exceeded my expectations as perusal. The assignment was for The Theatre Project in Baltimore, MD, and I had to design a poster, social media graphics, and outdoor signage for "Where the Whangdoodle Sings." Surprisingly, it turned out to be the first design project I won an award for! The challenge was to capture the mysterious essence of the whangdoodle bird, which is part-man, part-bird, and not much is known about it. I wanted to evoke a sense of intrigue and curiosity in the audience. Despite the initial struggles, I'm proud that the design was recognized with an award.
